The bi-level eatery River’s Edge Restaurant has a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the water and features a flavorful, seasonally-inspired menu. 
 
Taprock Northwest Grill is a log cabin-style eatery serving basic pub grub. If you want to try something a little different, visit the healthy drive-thru Casablanca Coffee & Grill, a family-run establishment that prides itself in serving food with no trans fat, hydrogenated oils, or MSG. Casablanca serves food in earth-friendly containers, and even the smoothies are made from 100 percent fruit without extra sugars.
 
Grants Pass is home to several elegant and enticing vineyards and wineries. Schmidt Family Vineyards is a family-owned and operated winery run by several generations of winemakers who create award-winning wines. Not only si Wooldridge Creek Vineyard a winery, but it is also a creamery and charcuterie making small batches of wine, cheese, and meats.

Adventurous types should consider taking a memorable trip down the Rogue River in style. Hellgate Jetboat Excursions is one of the country's first jetboat companies and runs adventures through the wild and scenic Rogue River. 
 
Whether you're a foodie, a cook, or just enjoy shopping at local farmers' markets, Grants Pass and surrounding Rogue Valley host weekly outdoor markets where you can purchase everything from fresh fruit and produce to handmade crafts, cheese, and baked goods. Running May through October is also the Grants Pass Makers Market attracting local artists, artisans, and admirers to connect and browse creative creations. 
 
The historic Rogue Theatre first opened its doors in 1938 and quickly became a cultural beacon enticing residents and newcomers inside to watch live musical and theatrical performances. 
 
Run by two master glassblowers, The Glass Forge Gallery & Studio specializes in Venetian-style art glass. They produce various artistic and functional glass products using traditional Italian art glass techniques.
 
Founded as a non-profit corporation to rehabilitate wildlife, the Wildlife Images Rehabilitation & Education Center is open to visitors year-round to get a close-up look at various mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. 
 
Grants Pass hosts the annual Boatnik in Riverside Park. This festival is free to attend and includes many activities and shows for all ages to enjoy. Additional activities are available for purchase, including the Davis Shows Carnival, concerts, and Boatnik Brewfest.

Grants Pass School District is the public school district serving the city. The main Redwood campus of Rogue Community College is also located here.
