Polina was born in Yakutsk, Russia, and spent the first half of her life braving Siberian winters (-58F!) alongside her three siblings and loving parents. In 1999 she first came to the United States as a Rotary Exchange Student. After spending her first year in Central Point’s Crater High School, she went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Augusta State University and a master’s degree in History from the University of Oregon. An award-winning filmmaker and journalist, Polina has taught in three different universities and worked for four television networks.
Polina knows Southern Oregon inside and out, and absolutely loves meeting new people and sharing with them this beautiful region. You will appreciate her great communication skills and responsiveness to your needs and questions.
